On May 17, at the request of first-year students of the faculties of finance, economics and accounting and statistics, a regular guest meeting was held as part of the sociology course with a well-known Ukrainian scientist, political scientist, Ph.D. in politics Valentyn Bushansky.
The subject of discussion were topical issues of conflict sociology, in particular: value preconditions of social conflicts: ideological and religious factors; legitimate conflict as a prerequisite for the development of society; the mythology of a conflict-free society, the phenomenon of conformism, etc.
In the course of the discussion, by the scientist were revealed psychologically conditioned conflicts and their manifestations (according to Sigmund Freud and Alfred Adler), objective and irrational preconditions of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine.
The scientist revealed the essence of the concepts of “basic” and “situational” consensus as the basis of a legitimate conflict and a prerequisite for its settlement.
Conflicts based on differences in the culture of different generations, racial characteristics, gender stereotypes, etc. were presented in vivid examples.
