On October 25, 2024 the Head of Department of Statistics, IT and Mathematical Methods in Economics, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor – O. Horobets attended the webinar presented by Chun-houh Chen, Ph.D., Director of the Institute of Statistical Science at Academia Sinica (Taiwan) and President-Elect of the International Association for Statistical Computing. The webinar topic: “Data Visualization and Exploratory Data Analysis with Matrix Visualization”. The webinar was organized with the support of the International Association for Statistical Computing (IASC) and the International Statistical Institute (ISI). During the presentation, Chun-houh Chen focused on the characteristics of Data Science and highlighted the features and complexities of big data analysis.

On October 24th, applicants of the first (bachelor) level of higher education of NASAA visited the KPMG office in Kyiv. KPMG is one of the leading auditing companies in the world. During the excursion, our students looked behind the scenes of the international company and got acquainted with its internal global processes! NASAA students also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with real-work processes, the atmosphere in the KPMG office, and talked with company’s specialists, who shared their own experience and career growth moments.

From July 03 to 05, 2023, Olena Motuzka, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor, Head of the Editorial and Publishing Department of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, took part in the International Scientific Conference “Methodology of Statistical Research 2023 (MET 2023)” (Warsaw, Poland). During the conference, Olena Motuzka made a presentation of the 100th issue of the scientific and information journal “Statistics of Ukraine”, and also joined the presentation of the joint issue of the journals “Statistics in Transition new series” and “Statistics of Ukraine” at the session “Polish-Ukrainian cooperation and support”.
