On October 17, 2017, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Ukraine’s Development Strategy: Economic and Human Aspects” was held at the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, dedicated to the memory of the first rector of the Academy, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Economist of Ukraine Ivan Pylypenko. On October 12, within the walls of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, the traditional debut of first-year students took place. In addition to the performances of debutants, the holiday was marked by the awarding of the most active students of NASAA according to the results of 2016-2017 academic years. In the Academy it has become a tradition to celebrate the Intercession of the Theotoks in Vyshyvankas. Every year students and teachers of the Academy dress up in vyshyvankas on this festive day. Vyshyvanka is considered to be an amulet that protects all the bad things that can happen in human life. It is a symbol of beauty and good health, as well as happiness.

From September 27 to October 3, 2017, the delegation of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, consisting of the Rector, prof. O. Osaulenko, pro-rector, prof. L. Momotyuk and the head of the international relations office, ass.prof. O. Zhurauliou, visited the Kingdom of Morocco. During the visit, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics in Rabat. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Academy and the Institute, ways of further cooperation have been discussed.
