Congratulations to the 1 year students E. Hashevskoho., A. Kirik and T. Tkachenko that have participated in the First philosophy tournament held from 28 – 29 November at Boris Hrinchenko University, Kyiv. In a saturated philosophical debate about conflicting processes in modern Ukrainian and global contexts, they have defended their own point of view demonstrating the high level of awareness in the context of historical and philosophical knowledge, breadth of thinking and proactive stance.
December 1, 2016 signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Auditing and the Centre for Research and Innovation statistics State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan. The memorandum was signed by: The Memorandum provides: exchange of experience in statistics and statistical innovation; joint publication of textbooks and other educational materials; publications on important theoretical and practical problems in statistical journals Parties; joint statistical research in statistics; exchange of materials with statistics and statistical innovation; participation in international scientific conferences, seminars and other scientific and practical events organized by one party and organization of joint activities.
On December 2, 2016, at the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, the XIV International scientific and practical conference took place on the topic of “The system of state statistics in Ukraine: Current State, Problems and Prospects”. The conference was attended by domestic and foreign scientists and. The conference was opened by the Rector of the Academy, Doctor of Public Administration, professor, corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine, Honored Economist of Ukraine A.H. Osaulenko. Under the guidance of prof. F. Motsnyy, the regular meeting of the scientific math circle “Integral” took place. Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics L. Perkhun, spoke on “Research of the stability of dynamic systems by means of linear algebra”. Theoretical information on the issue was described by the example of research on the stability of the model arms race. Students have actively participated in the discussion and resolution of the proposed problems. Closing session of the group was Professor of Mathematics F. Motsnyy, by stressing the critical role of understanding the importance of Mathematics for junior students and their learning process.
On November 28, 2016, within the research of the Department of Accounting, an interesting and useful meeting of students was held, undergraduates and professors of the Faculty of Accounting and Audit of NASAA with chief editor of a national professional newspaper “All of accounting”, O.H. Stepovyy. His speech on “Finding work: tips for a prospective employer” was accompanied by a slide show, that was appropriately complementary to the interesting story of the practitioner. On October 26, 2016, Academy students have participated in the annual All-Ukrainian information and prevention campaign “Responsibility starts with me”, which was conducted by the Shevchenko district administration of the city, Kyiv, to promote healthy lifestyle among young people. The action of inspection on the streets and shopping centers for placement of outdoor advertising of alcohol, tobacco and fixing the violations took place as a quest-game among student teams of higher education institutions located in the Shevchenko district. Our team “Alpha” was honored by a diploma for active participation in the quest and received a certificate for a free participation in the five-day youth camp retreat.

In 1494 November 10 the book of a monk, mathematician Luca Pacioli “Everything about arithmetic, geometry and proportion” saw the world. Historical to the accounting profession was the third section of the book, which was entitled “A Treatise on the accounts and records”. Scientific Information Journal “Statistics of Ukraine” was given the unique International Standard Serial Number, allowing identifying the periodical publication, raising its scientific credibility and international rating and in joining the global scientific community. Registration took place at the Paris International Centre, which operates with the support of UNESCO and the French government. In ISSN-register printed and online versions of the magazine were permanently registered. Registrars assigned number ISSN 2519-1853 and ISSN 2519-1861 respectively. Also, we inform that the site of the journal “Statistics of Ukraine” has begun operating. We invite you to publishing of scientific articles in “Statistics of Ukraine”.
From 24 to 28 of October 2016 Faculty of Finance has celebrated its week, which has already become a good annual tradition.
