Higher education students who studied under the Double Degree Program within the framework of the agreement between the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit and the WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza have successfully defended their bachelor’s theses and will soon receive their bachelor’s degrees. Academic staff from the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation and postgraduate students specializing in D1 “Accounting and Taxation” from the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, within the framework of cooperation with Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, participated in the inter-university scientific-practical seminar “Accounting, Auditing and Taxation: Latest Challenges and Prospects” for doctoral students specializing in D1 “Accounting and Taxation”. On April 1, 2025, within the framework of partnership with Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, academic staff from the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, together with applicants for higher education degree “master” and “bachelor”, joined a meeting with representatives of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Lviv SDC and attended a guest lecture on “Financial Reporting: Components and Verification in the Context of International Standards” within the framework of the academic discipline “Enterprise Reporting” and “Accounting and Financial Reporting under International Standards.”
On March 27, 2025, the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit hosted the XXIII All-Ukrainian Student Conference on the topic: “Development of the Accounting, Analysis and Audit System: Theory, Methodology, Organization,” dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Scientist and Technician of Ukraine O. Borodkin. Among the conference participants were students, academic and teaching staff of the Academy and universities of Ukraine, as well as representatives of the scientific community. On March 25, the Department of Statistics, IT and Mathematical Methods in Economics conducted a meeting with stakeholders from JSC “Idea Bank” – Maksym Yadviha, Head of Payment Operations Monitoring and Security Department and Kateryna Tararuk, Head of Recruitment. The event provided a unique opportunity for Academy and college students to gain practical experience, learn about cybersecurity challenges in the modern world, and understand how to join advanced processes in the banking sector. On March 27, 2025, the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance held a methodical seminar on “Using Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: Risks and Prospects”. The event was moderated by PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance Yuliia Koverninska. The head of the department, DSc in Economics, Professor, Honored Economist of Ukraine Taisiia Bondaruk, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Liudmyla Bohrinovtseva, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Iryna Zaichko, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Vita Fedyna participated actively in the discussion of the seminar topic.
On March 28, 2025, the Department of Finance, Banking, and Insurance at the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit held a methodical seminar on “Non-formal Education as a Necessary Component of Effective Learning for Higher Education Students.” Seminar moderator: PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance Liudmyla Bohrinovtseva. On March 25, 2025, as part of Global Money Week, a round table discussion titled “Global Money Week 2025” took place at the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, initiated by the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance. This international educational campaign, which runs this year from March 17 to 30, aims to increase financial literacy among young people and develop skills necessary for making informed financial decisions. The National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Public Organization “Centre of Law Enforcement Activities Research” (CLEAR). On March 7, on the occasion of International Open Data Day, the director of the NASAA library, Svitlana Spizhova, attended a webinar titled “Scientific Data: Concepts, FAIR Principles, Data Repositories.” The speaker was Oleksandr Shevchuk, a leading bibliographer of the research sector at the M. Maksymovych Scientific Library of Taras Shevchenko National University.
