Student Scientific Conference “The Use of Terminological Vocabulary in the Language of Professional Communication”

On April 24, 2025, the annual student scientific conference “The Use of Terminological Vocabulary in the Language of Professional Communication” was held by the Department of Foreign Languages of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit.

The conference was attended by students from the 1st to 4th years of the Accounting and Statistics Faculty and the Finance and Economics Faculty of the Academy. Presentations in English were given by Alina Markitan-Osmirko, Tetiana Krasnova, Yuliana Petriv, Ivan Kuznetsov, Viacheslav Kostiuchenko, Polina Lapina, Oleksii Radchenko, Marharyta Kobzenko, Maksym Labuz, Sofia Shchehol, Alina Chaplyhina, Oleksandr Budariev, Anastasiia Nekhtsa, and Inna Biriuk.

The conference addressed issues in the fields of professional training of economists, managers, statisticians, lawyers, and computer science specialists.

Conference participants were greeted by teaching staff of the Department of Foreign Languages T. Pohorielova, I. Stohnii, and O. Zahorodnia. The Head of the Department, M. Goriunova, delivered the closing remarks and emphasized the importance of implementing the acquired knowledge and public speaking skills that will contribute to the quality of lifelong learning, professional and personal growth.

The event was moderated by Iryna Stohnii, the head of the student scientific society “English Club.”
