Excursion to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

On April 5, 2019, the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance, in coordination with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, organized an excursion to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for students of the Faculty of Finance and Economics and teachers of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit.

Participants of the excursion got acquainted with the premises of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, its architectural heritage. They were able to see the magnificent paintings, the room of the balcony, from which the Rada itselfcan be seen. Of great interest was the O.Kulakov’s painting called “Creation of a Country”, depicting deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, historians who participated in state-building at various stages of the struggle for the independence of Ukraine and the state symbol – a large flag in the center of the painting. In addition, they were able to attend the session hall of the parliament, where laws of Ukraine are adopted, they also visited the corridors of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, where briefings of people’s deputies are held.

All the students have learned a lot of interesting new facts linking the history of our state and the present work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
