Victory of a student-accountant in the International Olympiad

Finally, we have a confirmed opportunity to congratulate 4th year student, group OO (b) 17.01 specialty 071 “Accounting and Taxation” Filishin Maxim, who worthily represented the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Auditing at the II International Distance Olympiad on International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as his Scientific Supervisor Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Honorary Professor of EIDV Slovakia Maria Telovata with victory!

The II International Olympiad was held on the basis of Karaganda State University named after Academician E.A. Buketova (Karaganda, Kazakhstan) during the week from 22.03.21 по 26.03.21р. in remote format. All participants were unified in 6 teams, the Olympiad was held in 3 stages:

•     Solving test problems in the discipline of IFRS.
•     Solving case problems: production situations at the enterprise and approaches to their solution.
•     Presentation of the discipline IFRS and its role in the training of a professional accountant.

In accordance with the final results of the finals (following the results of three stages) and the distribution of prizes among foreign participating students, NASAA student Maxim Filishin won 3rd place and was awarded a Diploma, and Telovata M. – by gratitude .
