Gratitude from the National Bank of Ukraine

The National Bank of Ukraine gratitude the teaching staff and students of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Auditing for their active participation in the international financial awareness campaign “Global Money Week 2021”.

Global Money Week is organized globally by the International Financial Education Network of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD / INFE). The National Bank of Ukraine is a member of the OECD / INFE and the official coordinator of the jubilation in Ukraine.

Global Money Week is an annual global initiative that includes promotions and events around the world to:

• inspire children and young people to learn more about money and savings, how to earn, manage their finances, run a business, etc.;
• draw public attention to financial education and financial literacy;
• tell children and young people about all aspects of money through fun and interactive tasks. This is a week when nearly 170 countries around the world host many events, classes, projects, presentations and competitions on financial awareness.

This year the campaign took place on March 22-28, 2021. Students of the Faculty of Finance and Economics took an active part in all events organized by the National Bank of Ukraine (webinars, lectures, kahoot-parties). In addition, as part of the event, the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance for students of all specialties were held interesting educational activities on financial literacy.
