On September 1, 2019, according to a long tradition, celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and an exciting ceremony of dedication of first-year students to the students of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit took place in the auditorium of the Main Department of Statistics in Kyiv. This year, the Academic Student Family has increased by more than 450 boys and girls.
Rector of the Academy, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with specialty “Statistics”, Honored Economist of Ukraine Oleksandr Osaulenko congratulated students with the beginning of the new academic year and a new stage in students’ lives.
The Honorary Guest of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine Candidate of Technical Sciences Ihor Werner addressed the ceremony with warm words, expressing his hope that the young elite who chose the Academy as their Alma-Mother would make every effort in the future for the development and prosperity of our country.
The student family and the guests were sincerely congratulated on the beginning of the new academic year by the Vice-rector for scientific-pedagogical and educational work LE Momotyuk, Director of the College of Business and Analytics OA Yurchenko. Greetings were given to students by Master-student Maria Muzychenko.
According to the long-standing tradition, rector of the Academy presented the first-year students with the symbolic Key of Knowledge, and the deans of the faculties presented the symbolic student ticket and the record book with the wishes of success in their studies, bright and unforgettable student years and studying only for excellent.
The freshmen took the oath of students and promised to study well and gain knowledge for the benefit of Ukraine and the Academy.
The solemn meeting ended with a concert of amateur students of the Academy and masters of art of Ukraine. The highlight of the concert were musical works performed by the People’s Artist of Ukraine, Professor of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit Irina Dats accompanied by the Academic Orchestra of Folk and Popular Music of Ukrainian Radio (artistic director and chief conductor of the collective Mykhailo Pikulsky).
