Excursion to Sigma Software

On November 29, 2024, students of the educational program “Computer Science and Information Technology” of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit and students of the specialty “Software Engineering” of the Professional College of Business and Analytics had a unique opportunity to visit the Kyiv branch of Sigma Software.

This excursion was an important event for students as it allowed them to get acquainted with the work of one of the leading IT companies in Ukraine.

Moderator of the meeting: PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics, IT and Mathematical Methods in Economics – Oleksandr Stavytskyi.

During the excursion, students met with a stakeholder from Sigma Software – Volodymyr Yantsov, who holds the position of L&D Program Manager. Volodymyr shared his working experience at the company, talked about the main activities of Sigma Software and answered numerous questions from students. His speech was extremely informative and inspiring, because he spoke about the importance of continuous learning and development in the IT field.
