On October 17, 2017, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Ukraine’s Development Strategy: Economic and Human Aspects” was held at the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, dedicated to the memory of the first rector of the Academy, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Economist of Ukraine Ivan Pylypenko.
The conference was attended by scientists and practitioners of Ukraine and foreign countries – Poland, USA, Morocco and Belarus. About 200 authors published their speeches in the collection of theses.
The conference was opened by the rector of the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAS of Ukraine, Honored Economist of Ukraine, O. Osaulenko.
The Director of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, V. Heiets made a welcoming speech.
The plenary session was attended by: I. Lunina, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Head of the State Finance Department of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, with a report on “Budgetary Risks of the State’s Socio-Economic Policy”; Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Financial Policy Department of the State Research Institute of Informatization and Modeling of Economics of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, V. Kornieiev, with a report on the topic: “Prospects for stabilization of the financial system of Ukraine.”
Among the practical scientists, a report of the Candidate of Economic Sciences, Honored Economist of Ukraine, Chief Accountant of the State Enterprise “Antonov”, M. Melnichuk on the topic: “Financial aspects of industrial development” aroused great interest.
Advisor to the Chairman of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, V. Pischyako spoke about the main directions of reforming state statistics in the medium term.
The humanitarian aspects of Ukraine’s development were revealed by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines of NASAA I. Nadolnyi, in his speech on the topic: “The dynamics of the impact of social change on the development of education in Ukraine.”
Other participants of the Conference included representatives of the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine, Pavel Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, V. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, A. Beketov Kharkiv National University of Municipal Economy, DHEI ” Vadim Getman Kyiv National Economic University”, Kiev National University of Trade and Economics , Institute of Economic and Legal Research of the NAS of Ukraine.

Aspects” has become a good tradition of the Academy, which honors the memory of the first rector, outstanding organizer and scientist I. Pylypenko.
