From January 27 to January 31, 2025 Teachers of the Department of Statistics, IT and Mathematical Methods in Economics – PhD, Associate Professor of the Department Oleksandr Stavytskyi and Senior Lecturer Stanislav Savchenko – took part in the “Teachers Smart Up: Winter Edition 2025” event organized by Sigma Software. During the course, teachers got acquainted with modern approaches to teaching IT disciplines, received practical knowledge on the introduction of the latest technologies in the educational process and learned about effective teaching methods. The program covered topics such as soft skills, critical thinking and cross-cultural communication, which are relevant for preparing students to meet the contemporary challenges of the IT industry.

From January 20 to February 14, 2025, applicants for the first (bachelor’s) level of the fourth year of study of the EP “Applied Statistics and Business Analytics” in the framework of the educational process and the implementation of the curriculum have industrial practice. On December 10, 2024, the Department of Statistics, IT and Mathematical Methods in Economics organized and held a guest lecture with Ksenia Androsovych, DSc in Psychology, Senior Researcher, Head of the Department of Psychology and Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the International Scientific and Technical University named after Academician Yuri Bugay. Moderator: Olena Horobets – PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Statistics, IT and Mathematical Methods in Economics. During the lecture, Mrs. Androsovych focused on interpreting the concept of “stress,” its types and methods of avoidance; offered participants stress level testing, practical breathing and meditation exercises.
