On February 20-22, 2025, the annual National Olympiad of Legal Clinics on Client Counseling took place in Ostroh at the National University of “Ostroh Academy.”
The team of the legal clinic “Lawyers Without Borders” of the Academy was represented by Maksym Labuz, a 2nd-year student majoring in “Law,” Karolina Katasonova, a 2nd-year student majoring in “Law,” and Yulia Bohdan, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Law and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines, PhD in Law, head of the legal clinic “Lawyers Without Borders” at NASOA.
This year’s theme of the National Olympiad was “Consumer Rights Contracts.” The competition was conducted in the form of modeling client counseling, providing assistance, and legal case analysis. The Olympiad is held exclusively in English. The competition took place in three stages: quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals.
This experience is extremely important and motivates clinical students to deepen their professional knowledge and English language proficiency.
