Meeting of the Student Scientific Society “Analyst”: Citing AI in Scientific Works

On April 1, 2025, according to the plan, the Department of Statistics, IT and Mathematical Methods in Economics held a regular meeting of the student scientific society “Analyst.”

Moderator: PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Head of the Department Olena Horobets.

The event was joined by PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department Svitlana Chervona and students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in the third and fourth years of study in the educational and professional program “Applied Statistics and Business Analytics.”

Olena Horobets emphasized the ethical use of AI tools in student works, as the purpose of the educational process in today’s conditions is for teachers not to prohibit the use of AI tools by students, but to explain how to properly implement AI in the educational process without violating the norms of academic integrity.
