The history of the Department of Foreign Languages as an independent structural unit begins in 2000. From 2005 to 2017, the department was called “Department of Modern European Languages”.
The academic staff of the Department of Foreign Languages provides the educational process in language disciplines for students of higher education at the Accounting and Statistics Faculty and the Financial and Economic Faculty in full-time and part-time forms of study, as well as in preparatory courses for applicants and foreign students.

- Foreign Language;
- Foreign Language (for Professional Purposes);
- Business Foreign Language;
- Business Foreign Language (Advanced Study);
- Ukrainian Language (for Professional Purposes);
- Ukrainian as a Foreign Language;
- Culture of Academic Language;
- Business Communication in a Foreign Language;
- Latin Language and Legal Terminology;
- Polish Language.
Within the framework of the European Union’s academic mobility program for higher education students and faculty, as well as the opportunities for parallel study at partner universities, the department offers Polish language courses.
The Department of Foreign Languages directs its activities toward the comprehensive development of competencies required for effective foreign language communication in various spheres: academic, professional, and social-civic.
The educational process takes place in specialized computer classrooms, using modern approaches to foreign language teaching through the latest information and communication technologies and interactive learning methods.
