On March 20, 2018, the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Mathematical Methods hosted a meeting of students from the National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit with representatives of the media agency Universal McCann. Speakers were Olekander Bespalov – the head of the Internet advertising department, and Oksana Misova – the head of the analytical department. The speakers analyzed the main tendencies of the digital and media markets of Ukraine, introduced the main analytical tools used for this purpose. The National Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit acted as the main sponsor of the 1st Open championship of intellectual games “Brain ring”, organized by the State Technical University “Shostka higher vocational school” with the assistance of the mayor of the Legislative Assembly M. Noha, of the city of Shostka, Sumy region. The championship took place in several stages, the teams of Shostka secondary school № 5 and Shostka’s Gymnasium got into the final. Meeting of a scientific student circle for mathematics

Under the guidance of prof. F. Motsnyy, the regular meeting of the scientific math circle “Integral” took place. Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics L. Perkhun, spoke on “Research of the stability of dynamic systems by means of linear algebra”. Theoretical information on the issue was described by the example of research on the stability of the model arms race. Students have actively participated in the discussion and resolution of the proposed problems. Closing session of the group was Professor of Mathematics F. Motsnyy, by stressing the critical role of understanding the importance of Mathematics for junior students and their learning process.
